Coming soon to iOS

Every car, right where it stands.

One place for every job, part, and mile. Kept suggests an interval schedule for your vehicle based on usage, flags what's due, and builds the record as you go. Proof of care, ready when you need it.

You're on the list. We'll email you when Kept is ready.

Kept on an iPhone standing on a workbench: the Garage screen with a car selected, engine oil 760 miles overdue flagged in orange

The work is real, but the record is scattered. Receipts in the glovebox, an outdated spreadsheet, and bookmarks to forum posts with torque specs. Month by month you guess what's due, and at selling time all those years of care are just a story.

Know what’s due

Interval countdowns, alerts, and reminders.

View what’s due like a dashboard of gauges. Glance at the garage and know where every car stands. You're able to add, remove, or edit intervals as much as you'd like. We recommend referring to your owner's manual.

Log the work

Record jobs before you clean up.

A job takes seconds: what you did, the parts, the mileage. Snap a few pictures, and the log is complete, all from your phone.

A well-kept car is worth more.

Vehicle History Report

A print-ready record of everything logged for The Boxster, plus a code a buyer can scan to import it.

This report is a snapshot. Work logged after today won’t appear in it. Generate a fresh one to include the latest data logged.

Prove the care

Years of work, rendered.

With Kept Pro, the whole log becomes a Vehicle History Report: a clean, print-ready PDF of every job, part, mile, and photo. Typical history reports only know what shops report. Now the work you did yourself can be included.

  • Review receipt screen in Kept: a photographed parts receipt with the part names, prices, and store read off it, ready to attach to the job

    Receipt scanner

Let’s be real. The longer it takes to log a job, the less likely you are to log it. To make it easier, with Kept Pro, we’ll do our best to analyze receipt photos to autofill the part names, the prices, the store you got it from. We’ll attach the photo to the job as proof too.

  • Update Mileage sheet in Kept: the odometer typed in as 143,193 mi over The Boxster's screen, with a Save button

    Mileage log

Your intervals are only as good as your last odometer reading. So updating it takes about five seconds. Type the number, hit save, done. Kept works out the miles since, and every countdown on the car ticks over to match.

  • Add interval screen in Kept: a custom interval with a miles field and a months field, whichever comes first triggers the alert

    Custom intervals

No preset schedule knows your car like you do. Add your own intervals for anything, diff fluid, cabin air filter, in miles, months, or both. Whichever comes first triggers the alert, and your notes ride along, torque specs and all.

  • Job detail in Kept for Replaced Brake Pads and Rotors, showing the odometer, cost, parts, and the day the job was logged

    Timestamped history

Anyone can type up a tidy service history the week they sell. Kept stamps every job with the day it was actually logged, so years of care look like years of care, and a record thrown together before the sale looks like exactly that. Proof, not a story.

  • When does Kept launch?

The beta opens on iPhone this fall, waitlist first. The App Store release follows.

  • Is it iPhone only?

For now. A web app is planned next, followed by Android. The record is built to outlast any one platform, but iPhone is where Kept starts.

  • What does a buyer need to read my report?

The PDF opens anywhere. The code needs the free Kept app: scan it, and the history imports into their garage.

  • What’s in the Vehicle History Report?

The car’s identity and every logged job: dates, mileage, parts, photos, and how the service intervals were met. What you paid is up to you. You have the power to show or hide the costs.
